Using the internet and sending an email can be a bit tricky for our kaumaatua and pakeke, so PLEASE reach out to your elders and help them to update their details. Without their correct information, we cannot reach them. Help them to send through the following information via an email using the subject line UPDATE DETAILS against following list to us
- Full Name
- Physical Address
- Contact Phone Number
- Date of Birth.
Likewise, if you’ve moved or had a change of contact information in the last 5 years, we also need you to update your contact details by flicking through the info with subject line UPDATE DETAILS to usEMAIL US

WAIKATO-TAINUI WELLNESS CENTRES AND MOBILE VACCINATION SCHEDULE
Wellness centres and Te Hiwa o Tainui have been mobilised to reach our Kaumaatua and those most vulnerable who may be struggling with access to nearby permanent health services.
Waikato-Tainui have been working together with District Health Boards and the amazing kaimahi from our Maaori Health Providers in the Waikato rohe to provide these services.
Why are we giving flu vaccines?
A flu vaccine can help to really boost your immune system, therefore giving your body a better chance of fighting off COVID-19 were you to contract the virus.
Who can be vaccinated?
- People 65 years old and over.
- Women who are pregnant.
- Anybody under 65 with diabetes, heart or lung conditions and other illnesses compromising their immune system.
- Children under 5 who have had a stay in hospital for asthma, or other breathing problems.
